Quality & Cost Council
Building on the collaboration of the Quality of Care
Initiative, the Hospital Cost Council conducted a study to assess
and measure the cost of healthcare in the Dayton region. The
Quality and Cost Council have merged to assure member hospitals
provide high quality care at a reasonable cost.
In the future the Quality and Cost Council will: compare public
local, state, and national quality data; analyze emerging quality
issues; share best practices in quality improvement; complete
targeted and measureable quality improvement studies; and document
how these efforts can reduce healthcare costs.
