Advocacy
As an advocate for our region's hospitals, we seek to
develop a positive public health policy that supports our members'
efforts to deliver state-of-art healthcare
services. To this end, we strive to cultivate positive
relationships with elected officials and agency leadership as the
regional resource for healthcare information.
Our members are experts in the delivery of quality
care. Their guidance allows us to set a public policy
agenda that specifically addresses our region's concerns as we work
in conjunction with the Ohio Hospital Association and the American
Hospital Association.
With an economic impact of $6.77 billion and more than 31,000
individuals directly employed by our region's hospitals, our
grassroots champions recognize the value of our region's hospitals.
These advocates are readily available to share their perspective
with local, state and federally elected officials.
